I enjoyed writing stories in high school. I wasn’t inspired by literature class but I did read a lot. My dad brought home the pulps, paper backs in his lunch bucket. These where Mickey Spillane books and others that I never would have read in school. Later I prowled the drugstore racks. Paperbacks were in their heyday and there was some great stuff out there. I took two writing classes in college. My grammar and spelling were terrible, then and they still are. Karen, my long-suffering proofreader knows this. I have done about fifty stories and eight books, I still don’t know how to type. Never the less, I hope yo enjoy some of these efforts.
