VERTICAL LANDSCAPES

It has always bothered me that “landscape” in a computer means horizontal. I decided to show my students how this could be a vertical scene. We worked with horizon lines, things looking smaller as they get farther away, etc. All the obvious stuff that isn’t obvious to a kid, until they actually deal with it. We used pencils, crayon pastels, then water colors.

  1. Very interesting concept, Bill. I think this is a good idea for “grown up artists” not just for kids.
