A Photodocumentation
This 8 1/2 x 11, 360 page book with 700 photographs depicts the variety of life in Southern Indiana’s Amish Community. Interviews and observations complement the photography. Subjects covered include: hog and cattle butchering, sausage and soap making, binding and threshing, kitchens and food preparation, sewing and crafts, clothing, weddings, church services, and children’s games.
As a special note, everything in this book was approved by the elders of this Amish community. This project was completed over a period of five years.
